If you are an individual dev and coming from the docker swarm / compose world, podman will drive you mad. If you are a sysadmin / platform engineer / etc type familiar with kubernetes / k3s, podman has some pros and cons about it that make working in that ecosystem (systems, platforms) much nicer to manage. What we are missing right now is a bridge between the two that podman-compose doesn't exactly fulfill for a lot of people. |
