That's another patronage angle. When the feds buy Lenovo laptops, they have to comply with TAA. So they ship the laptops to Texas, "materially transform" them, package and ship to the customer. You can be sure some crony owns the company that screws the display and puts stickers on the laptop with minimum wage workers. |
