I'm curious if you're willing to say what you (and potentially other people who spell 'AD' like that) think it's an acronym for, by the way.

English is not my first language. To me, 'AD' was a shorter way to say 'advertisement' (a really hard word to remember how to spell btw) Is that wrong?

I get what you're saying now. I can write it in lowercase, right? It's just that I see people writing it that way, so I end up repeating their behavior without even realizing it.
