There’s DICOM but last I worked with it it was a disaster.
, because everyone implemted it differently. Seemed like a solution looking for a problem. Also didn’t help the standard is like 200 pages and it was a design by committee, none of whom appeared actually interested in coming up with a reference implementation. I never understood why everyone didn’t just use TIFF |
