Supposedly, according to their financial reports, Tesla has $37 billion in cash and equivalents.

That they haven't got the Tesla semi into series production, that they don't have a new roadster, nor do they have a new lower cost car, nor do they have nearly enough 4680 cells to update all of their battery packs, nor do they have a plausible robotaxi vehicle and that two seat gullwing thing isn't it, you have to wonder why?

Not "Why are they somehow blocked from having these things?" but why haven't they even spent more money to try to get there? That's a bigger mystery than what happened to $1.4 billion or how to sell 6800 Teslas in two days in Canada.

As for Roadster. Tesla used those as incentive when heavily promoting S/X with referrals. Some people have 2-3 Roadsters free on paper, at least ~100 total. Thats cool ~$50mil instant loss the moment you start actually making the thing.
