Nothing intellectual to say, but this is not the future most Americans want. Privatized social credit system incoming?

This American is all for banning facial recognition, with stiff penalties for the person in charge of any company or agency who breaks this ban. The US is not China and the government exists to serve and protect its citizens. At least in theory.
Ironic since the Chinese already banned facial recognition.
I believe he meant the US doesn't harvest its citizens' organs and sell them for cash
Last time I checked the US still allows prison slave labour and medical experiments on its prison population.
There's a pretty big split between what Americans want and what the US government wants. Same for EU and European citizens.
Compared to this, the governmental credit system of China seems to me a giant improvement, no?
It would be if it existed.

> According to a February 2022 report by the Mercator Institute for China Studies (MERICS), a social credit "score" is a myth as there is "no score that dictates citizen's place in society" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_Credit_System

There's nothing intellectual about this, it just sucks.
