It became obvious to me in the banking crisis 2008 as everybody in Germany talked about corruption in Greece and ignored the German companies involved that bribed Greece politicians. It doesn’t help either that the corruption perceptions index is often shortened in German to Korruptionsindex = corruption index which makes it sound objective instead instead of subjective |
