Cheap wired headphones are analog bad (speaker elements etc). Cheap bluetooth earbuds are also digital bad (codec, compression, poor radio reception forcing use of fewer bits). Because of the longer history, we're better at making cheap-bad-analog than cheap-bad-digital. |
