For browsing the web and using web apps the iPad is perfect. It's cheap enough that I don't mind doing slightly dangerous things with it that might kill it once every three years. Inevitably, for things like Bluesky and Mastodon, the experience of using the web app on the iPad is perfect, but the app experience is "phonish" and just doesn't fit the screen size but why should I care when the web experience is perfect? |
