There was a great article about what would happen if Canada were a state: https://abcnews.go.com/538/trumps-push-canadian-statehood-hu... basically, assuming the US continues as a democracy in the same way it is now, the GOP / Trump would loose terribly in the next election. Then I guess it probably becomes independent again. |
