I would say yes, but the key words here are “democratised” and “advanced”. How advanced do the AIs need to be to have this effect? Is current AI tech on a path to reach this level, or will we need to go through another AI winter or three? Will we avoid a monopoly or a cartel controlling access to the technology? (The answer may be different in different parts of the world.) |
