that was also my understanding. Nearby Mexico City, in a semi-desertic area (Queretaro), there are a high amount of data centers, Google, Microsoft and Amazon have a region there. I would think they only need cheap electricity, connectivity and in the case of Mexico, far away from seismic activity. |
