Yes, the weird truth is that donating a small percentage of your salary to a charity like this is a lot easier than trying to be vegetarian/vegan while still being about as effective. That site says ~$25 per month, which is not a lot for engineer salaries. Or $50/month if you want to make up for your past choices too. FWIW I've donated a lot to The Humane League and Giving What We Can's Animal Welfare Fund. |
