What is a guided missile destroyer going to do to prevent migrants from walking across the border. If some are coming by boat then the Coast Guard can handle that, I mean it is kind in their name.

Yes, it's a weapon's platform first, but it's a surveillance platform zeroeth, to point the weapons.

Migrants come in at port of entry. Illegal aliens and cartels should be made to turn around, and a missile destroyed can make them do that.
