A friend of mine told me once, 'Have you launched the app you are working on?' I answered, 'No, I am testing it with real users so that I can provide them some value.' He said, 'It’s been a month, you need to launch. Some people will launch 30 apps before one actually works.' 'It’s not that I am just making an app,' I said. I am solving a problem. A start up. It's easier to launch apps – look for drops in short term value. But building a single brand is for the long term, and means value will be added while it cannot be taken – then sold and evaluated. Like, just building and launching, hoping for the best, or getting users who will not stick, or like will make money, but not for a long time. |
