Ask HN: What are the all-time best learning resources across any field?
4 points by lazerjesus 458 days ago
What learning resources have you encountered that are so exceptional they deserve to be considered classics? Books, courses, websites, videos, tools - anything that delivers extraordinary clarity, insight, or effectiveness, regardless of subject matter. No domain restrictions - programming, arts, sciences, trades, humanities, or obscure niche topics. What resource fundamentally transformed your understanding or skills?

I'll add some of my own:

- the fast.ai courses by Jeremy Howard. www.fast.ai

- /u/spez did a course on python about 15 years ago and its one of the best intros to programming ive ever seen. its on udacity.

- nand2tetris for understanding how computers work

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Helps to teach you how to see quality.
