For those objecting or thinking this is predatory:

This is basically how kaggle works. The prizes are relatively small for what they are getting. The payoff for the people competing is experience with real world datasets and a portfolio to show off when they try to get hired.

I haven’t looked at them lately, but this one does seem on the low side. That said everyone competing knows the terms up front.
