If it has low RTT and is battlefield easy to deploy, well and good. All antenna are giant shiny objects for RF detection, phased array antenna are no different they emit as well as receive, there is radiation outside the aim point. How well eutelsat behaves is yet to be seen.

The real problem lies behind the packets: how good is the Intel and SIGINT feed. Hopefully HIMARS aiming can be restored to higher accuracy, and battlefield information flows restored.

France said it can supply things five eyes have to be circumspect about.

OneWeb would be direct replacement. Eutelsat normal milsec offering is almost all geo with very low bw and high latency. Afaik before OneWeb whole European operators available BW was couple of gigabits. Wonder how operational is OneWeb constellation at merely 600 sats.
600 sats at a higher orbit than Starlink is just as operational. Starlink only need so many satellites because they are low. Lower sats = smaller footprint = need for constellation of thousands. High sats = bigger footprint = a few hundred sats.
