Thank you for your compliments; I don't really think myself as either, especially not particularly smart, anyhow I think you really hit the nail on the head with your last point - I should maybe just accept the situation and forget about being strongly driven during the day job, maybe reserving that desire to perform better for my own projects, when I'll be able to get the time to do so.

Finding another role to perform is, I fear, a bit risky in this situation as the possibility of quickly getting in a worse state of burnout would be much higher...
