Honestly it seems like the job is the least of your problems! I think you need to think hard about what you want your life to ultimately look like and try to map out what steps need to happen to get there. Do you need to stay in that location first of all? Maybe a move would open up new opportunities and be a fresh start. One thing that you could do now is stop caring about trying too hard at your current role. Unemployment is rough, and you might be able to coast a while at your current role while you plan your next steps. It also might improve the situation. |
