They don't sell the seagull here in Australia, but the entry level Dolphin retails at about US $1000 less than this new EV. With this not due to start production for two years, it does look like they're well behind the game and unlikely to be able to compete on price. (edit - I realise this is at least in part because the Chinese government subsidise the industry, and here in Aus we have no tariffs on them because we have no car industry to protect) |
