I brutally ripped the cellular modem out of my Jeep and have not had this problem since then. See https://sandsprite.com/blogs/index.php?uid=7&pid=462&year=20.... It has the drawback of breaking the GPS and compass. Also I imagine any recalls that are fixed via over-the-air updates won't apply. Hopefully that never happens, because I don't want to have to try to explain to the dealer that I need them to apply the update locally. |
