Interesting. So if I understood correctly, at the time you were at some other major company that still had a long tail of commercial Unix, mainframe, and other operating systems in the data center and the fact that a company like Google was able to grow and operate at scale while running nearly everything on x86 Linux advertised to other companies that it could be done? |
