It doesn’t require believing in conspiracy theories to see a clear conflict of interest. Ad blocking was one of the original reasons people switched from IE to Firefox in the 2004-2008 era. Hopefully, history will repeat itself again. In the long run, the answer will not be Chrome. The world needs a browser engine that’s not tied to an ad company |
