It doesn’t matter much what they have in cash and non-liquid assets if they don’t have a balanced budget. 90% of Mozilla’s direct income (cash) comes from Google. And it looks like that funding may go away soon [1]. If Firefox had a big marketshare they might be able to capitalise on that, but right now it’s the lowest it’s ever been, and they keep on burning bridges.
