Same here, but we are in a very similar boat in our voyage through socioeconomic statuses (though I'm in Ohio River Valley US). I may be fooled by the discourse that [Xennials/Oregon Trail gen/Gen Y/Elder Millennials], but we supposedly saved more, delayed gratification, planned more, and worked more than even Gen Z (who, don't get me wrong, have it worse because of undercompensation vs purchasing power and sheer hopelessness). I doubt we're typical, is my point. |
