May I ask what issue you ran into with Docker? I'm interested in Podman simply because I'm curious, but I can't think of any reason to move away from Docker besides that.

It's been a while. I think it was the privilege issue more than anything. And as it was a fresh start for me, I decided to pick podman.

If docker works for you, I think you should continue with it.
