It's interesting to see who immediately jumps to a hypothetical involving the police protecting them from a crime, versus those who immediately jump to a hypothetical where they're being protected from police. This may be irrational, but I'm more worried about being falsely imprisoned by legal means than I am about being murdered by illegal means. |
