My experience suggests the opposite; the city was an upwards trajectory until 2018 or so but it's taken a turn for the worse since. I lived in SF from 2009 to 2024. Every part of the city has gotten worse. When I moved, parts of Mission were definitely rough and they've cleaned up quite a bit. Even SoMa became somewhat interesting, as much as area like that could have before Covid. |
