There is a growing consensus that focusing solely on beta-amyloid has led to stagnation in treatment development, prompting researchers to explore alternative theories and treatment pathways. Also there is potential fabrication of data in a key 2006 study linking beta-amyloid to Alzheimer's and the FDA's approval of aducanumab, which has faced criticism for its incomplete data. |
