My own graphics card was 5 years old. It was just an Nvidia with outdated Linux drivers. There is no other application on my computer that complained about it. In any case I'd understand needing bleeding edge hardware for 3D gaming, or CAD, or multimedia. But a 10 year old machine _should_ be able to run a text editor IMHO. |
