I can trivially just print any AI image I want, then take a "verified" picture of it with my camera. That seems like a pretty large failure point.

That's easy to mess up - see https://screenrant.com/vintage-pokemon-card-fakes-millions/. Obviously nothing that would be a problem for an intelligent criminal, but I think that rules out a lot of people.

Criminals won't need to be intelligent to not get caught anymore, once AI is capable enough.
