I think that's right, but stated wrong. :) Randomness does confound our expectations. But what it does not do is confound them consistently. It's routine for a random order to play the same song twice in near succession ("I just heard this yesterday, and I have 2000 songs in this thing!"), etc... But none of that really gets to the linked article, which is that iTunes was using a fixed shuffle order. |
