It's not a bluff, it's basic practice to record calls when the interactions are high stakes. This was just a social media fight, but when the issue is malpractice or someone has died you can guarantee the lawyers will want recordings of those calls. In states where recording requires consent you will get a pre-recorded message at the beginning of the call warning you that it's being recorded. |
