> My feeling is that most such diagrams are used for purely aesthetic purposes. They break up dense text and add some color and variety to a document. Not true. Many folks are visual learners. And if you're experienced enough, you can pick up the gist of the text from a quick glance at a good diagram, figure out the "shady" areas, and then dive into the text for details. |
