The way it was explained to me when I was at Amazon is that the intent of that principle is that good leaders should “make themselves correct” by gathering the data they need to have well informed judgement. So in retrospect they’re “right a lot” because they actively seek to align themselves with reality and therefore are better able to predict the outcomes of their work. |
