> The other question is does the US have the resources (that people can afford) to have folks go to treatment. In terms of GDP per capita, the USA is the 6th richest on the planet. So the question is not do we have the resources (we do!), but are we willing to make the political and social choices that would be required to deploy the resources to such ends. |
