That's a great description of your product and target market. You should put that on your site as the value proposition.

I have tried a few times to set up portals for clients to review work and communicate on projects. Generally they don't use them, or they have their own system they want me to use. Very often they won't even use GitHub.

My clients almost never want to pay by credit card -- medium/larger companies don't pay their bills like that, though I have seen some adoption of card payment. I mainly get paid by bank transfer, or even paper checks (USA only). I have offered credit/debit card, PayPal, Wise, but if the company has a payables system you have to deal with that process.

Good luck!

Thank you for the compliment and advice, I will make my landing page more clear so that the value proposition goes unmissed.

My project clients have mostly been small businesses and entrepreneurs who have yet to establish their preferred methods of operating, and they have not balked at using Stripe for card payments or bank transfers. I had a handful of them asking for a way to check progress, make payments, etc.... which led to me building Momentum. Instead of just building a system for me to use and solve my own problem, I decided to open it up and make it available for others. I have only been creating software for just over two years (although I have a small amount of coding experience from when I was a teenager), all self taught so I have a lot of growing to do... especially when it comes to marketing.

That being said, it makes a lot of sense that medium/large companies would not be interested in a project dashboard or credit card payments now that you have pointed out those examples, I appreciate you sharing your experience with me so that I am able to grow and increase my awareness of markets and needs.

Thanks again for the replies to my post.

Best regards,

Jared
