That'd be a very hard argument in a corporate environment, when we already pay for the Atlassian stack. Jira and Confluence are already so embedded, I've barked up that tree before, it wouldn't go anywhere for a long time even if there were glaring problems, nevermind one devs gripe about a suboptimal UX. Self hosted costs a person, or more likely a team, plus the infra. |
