I do not have full statistics, but people who smoke cigarettes are less prone for developing post-covid, according to the statistics I have. My immediate thought back then was is that nicotine somehow plays the role of NAD (= B3 vitamin), thus fixing one of the core mechanisms of acquiring mitochondrial dysfunction after the covid (NAD deprivation). |
