I would rather see the software just not exist ever. If the product is so bad that you can't get someone to pay a few bucks, maybe it should just die in the mountain of shitty apps. If the only way they can make said product is to be skeezy fuckers selling you data, then fuck them. 99% of app stores are full of trash, so I won't miss another stupid fucking app.
