I still prefer neovim+lazy, but Zed is really pretty good and way way way faster than VSCode. Really, my only stumbling block with Zed is simply that while its vim mode is pretty decent, it's not the same as my neovim+lazy setup. However as pointed out in TFA, it looks like the Zed folks are doubling down on the vim bindings: https://zed.dev/blog/vim-2025 It's be kinda cool if Zed had a TUI mode (in that the rendering engine would generate VT escape sequences). |
