Sometime in the late 80's I was working in MSDOS and needed more working RAM for an app, so we bought the Phar Lap DOS extender. Got the box and started reading the manual when someone stopped and asked "Why are you reading about horses?"
What horse? "The mighty Phar Lap of course." I had no idea it was the name of a horse, but I guess since their logo had a black horse I should have known :-) |
