It's an astonishing amount of overhead that slows everything to a veritable crawl. It also creates downstream issues because you need to build in contingencies for your service consumers until you are able to fully abstract the dependency to a point where rehoming doesn't impact them. The risk calculations are very primitive at the moment, I'm guessing they will be refined over time as industry feedback starts to resonate. |
