The grift is logically possible, but not terribly scalable and requires the same sort of email and money laundering infrastructure that an industrial scale grift requires. It is the sort of thing a state intelligence agency could do to target an individual for the interests of a state. But then again, a state intelligence agency can just beat you with a wrench until you give them your money. |
