Poka-yoke specifically refers to inadvertent human errors, and isn't intended to stop someone from going around it intentionally, or avoiding all failures/error states At my job, I add automations to try to avoid problematic and common errors. But I also engineer them so that a human can override them in the event of an emergency or some other need |
