I Agree. I tried briefly Zig and quickly gave up because, as someone used to Rust, the compiler wasn't helping me find those issues at compile time. I know that Zig doesn't make those promises, but for me, it's a deal breaker, so I suppose Zig isn't the language for me. On the other hand, I do like the concept of comptime vs Rust macros. |
