I recently launched my new social music sharing and discovery app called Solance. The goal behind it is to create a way to make it easier for friends to share and discover music. It came about from me and my friends always sending each other songs on Spotify that we thought the other would like but then I figured how many songs have my friends heard that I would've liked that they never sent me? And so that's where this app idea came from. Essentially you sign up and link your Spotify and then follow your friends on the app. Once in the app you need to follow your friends and then the music they recently listened to on Spotify will show up in your feed in batches of 4 songs at a time similar to an Instagram post. You can then listen to short previews of these songs to see if you like them, you can also interact by liking and/or commenting on the songs. You can also save the song directly from the Solance app to your Spotify Liked songs. The app is in very early stages so you will need friends to get the proper Solance experience. To initially test the app you can follow me, my username is dan. Please keep in mind the app is very new with many features planned but I would love feedback on the initial idea and exectution!
