I would rather get an anal probe with a cactus than ever go back to BigTech or any large company. I’m 50 and I just don’t have the shit tolerance to put up with the politics. I know what my responsibilities and expectations are as a “staff” and as long as my clients (cloud consulting) are happy and the projects I’m leading are done, on time, on budget and meets requirements, everyone is happy. There is a clear dollar amount assigned to my work and downstream revenue. |
