Agreed. The only solution to the housing problem is building public housing. Yes, theres all kinds of problems with that but a nice side effect is it reduces housing costs for all income groups. But of course for those who bought a house for financial investment purposes (retirement plan, rent seeking, flipping) solving the housing problem is not a benefit. |
